Bound by chains and carted through the unforgiving lands of the Grey Hinterlands, she must battle the frigid cold of Winter and the apathy of her captor to survive the journey and discover who desires diplomacy nullified.Twenty gold heads. That is her worth, and that is what motivates Ilai to press forward despite his acquisition. The details or purpose of the wanted poster is unimportant. What matters is the sum of the reward is enough to live off of for the rest of his life. But perhaps the reward is too good to be true.The constant threat of death pulls the two opposites to set aside their differences in an effort to survive. From the beasts that hunt in the night to humans with nefarious intent, Ysella and Ilai discover their budding feelings and a threat that not only imperils their union but risks darkness upon the land. The weight of thousands rests on her shoulders. She must survive the journey to Ethyrnon Tower and find cohesion in the chaos.

The sequel to Cohesion and Chaos is currently being written! The story will follow Ysella and Ilai’s journey to Bastillos, and follow a few new characters as well.
Eudicia
Nameless is a Blood Mage exiled for the murder of her former guardian, but after a string of mysterious disappearances, her return is requested to perform a Blood Ritual on the very woman she killed. The investigation’s only lead points to her former guardian, and no one but Nameless can recall the soul for the inquiry. Agreeing to the summons, and performing the Blood Ritual, will remove her from exile permanently, and so she acquiesces as she misses the particular comfort of friendship she did not have in her exile.Given the history between Nameless and her former guardian, the Blood Ritual could kill Nameless, but given her best friend is leading the investigation into these disappearances, she is willing to take the risk. The presence of a member of the Tenebris causes concern among them, especially given the organization does not think well of Blood Mages and Nameless should have never been exiled, but executed for the very crime she seeks to be pardoned.The success of the Blood Ritual provides more questions than answers, and Nameless must face the consequences of her actions and the welling Darkness within as she journeys across Thol to unravel the illusive society known as Eudicia before they find the Key that will open a portal between worlds. Cosmic forces spill throughout the land, consuming everything in their path, and Nameless will have to come to terms that her past, present, and future are the cause for this destruction, and only she has the power to stop it.
